Maureen Murphy

Throughout her career, Maureen Murphy has taught vocal, piano, acting and dancing lessons in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto. For the last five years, she's focused on private lessons in the Calgary area. Maureen holds her advanced jazz and tap ADAPT certification and has completed high levels in music theory and piano. She has also studied thoroughly in ballet, modern, hip-hop, lyrical, musical theater and funk.

Maureen sings with several bands through out the city and even made it into the 24 girls on "Canadian Idol"! She was one of the four Canadian finalists on "Nashville Star" and has recorded a lot of her music including a CD in Nashville. Maureen is also a part of talent committees around the city including the Stampede Talent Search. Maureen loves to choreograph innovative routines and has won a few choreography awards for her competition work. She has also been recognized for her direction in the acting world.

Maureen is currently at the University of Calgary studying communications and music, and is excited to be a part of the Boundless crew. She looks forward working with all of her students!

Sat: 9½ am to 1 pm
