Shannon Tough

Shannon Tough has an extensive dance background in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, and musical theatre. Originally from Winnipeg, Shannon trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She received a B.A in Dance from the University of Calgary in collaboration with the School of Alberta Ballet and most recently a B.Ed from the University of Calgary. Shannon's stage credits include The Music Man, 42nd Street, BIG The Musical, West Side Story, Chicago, Disney's Pooh Friendship Day, Global Dance Works, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Shannon's choreography for the musical A Chorus Line took home the Outstanding Choreography award at the 2005 Calgary ACTS - CAT Awards. She also choreographed and performed in the musical Eating Raoul at the 2005 Edmonton Fringe Festival. Shannon is now very passionate about teaching dance, but still finds time to dance professionally with VIVO The Alive Dance Company, as well as attending many dance workshops in Canada and the United States. Shannon is very excited to have completed the ADAPT Teacher's Training School and is now an ADAPT certified teacher. Shannon is very grateful to have found a home here at Boundless Dance Studio and invites every student that comes into her class to share in her passion for dance and be inspired to move.

Sat: 9½ am to 1 pm
