
Tyler Lipchin

After spending a short period with Story Book theatre, Tyler began his dance training at the age of 11 with the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede. While studying Acting and Musical Theatre, Tyler discovered his love for dance and soon broke into Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Gymnastics, Partnering, and most recently Hip-Hop. He received a scholarship, and trained briefly with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks in Calgary. Tyler has been involved in many local performances including the 2001 Grey Cup Half-Time show and the motion picture "The Hero". He also sang the national anthem for the NHL in Calgary. In 2004, Tyler co-founded the Calgary dance group Wildcard Productions, who have been involved in several performances in Calgary, Edmonton, Australia and the United States. Tyler's involvement with Wildcard Productions has given him the opportunity to conduct dance workshops all across Australia, and work with such artists as Boys II Men, Dirty Vegas, and Bobby Valentino. He now teaches Hip-Hop at Boundless Dance Studio while training and performing with his dance group.
